Position Summary: The Diesel Mechanic will be responsible for inspecting, servicing, and repairing diesel-powered trucks, trailers, and construction equipment. This position is ideal for candidates who excel in a structured, shop-based environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnostics & Repair: Troubleshoot and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, transmissions, braking systems, and electrical components on fleet vehicles and equipment.
• Preventive Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance including oil changes, filter replacements, fluid checks, and system inspections to minimize equipment downtime.
• Fleet Asset Care: Maintain and update service records for all equipment, ensuring compliance with DOT, OSHA, and company standards.
• Parts & Inventory Management: Coordinate with inventory staff to ensure required parts and tools are stocked and available. Track usage and document repair activity.
• Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental regulations. Perform quality control checks to ensure repairs are completed to manufacturer specifications. Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience as a diesel mechanic or heavy equipment technician.
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems, hydraulics, and electrical diagnostics.
  • Proficient with diagnostic software, scan tools, and maintenance equipment.
  • Ability to interpret technical manuals and service bulletins.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
  • CDL is a plus, but not required.
  • ASE certifications preferred but not mandatory. Benefits:
