Xpedient is seeking a dedicated, safety-conscious Truck Driver to join our team for local deliveries using a semi-truck with a 53' van trailer. This role offers a stable Monday through Friday schedule, competitive salary, full benefits, and the opportunity to be home daily. The ideal candidate is a professional driver with experience in handling freight and maintaining exceptional service standards.Job Duties & Responsibilities:Safely operate a semi-truck for local deliveries.Adhere to all company and federal safety requirements and regulations.Unload freight (primarily tires) at customer locations as needed.Conduct routine inspections of the truck, trailer, and load before, during, and after trips.Perform minor preventative maintenance tasks and promptly report mechanical issues.Complete accurate and timely logs, reports, and other required documentation.Maintain clean and well-kept equipment and vehicles.Demonstrate professionalism, effective communication, and a positive attitude with customers, peers, and management.Engage in continuous improvement, promoting safe work practices and housekeeping.Assist with general office tasks or additional assignments as needed.Safety:Strictly adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations.Conduct and document pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.Maintain detailed records of any safety incidents or concerns.Enforce operating instructions and safety policies across all activities.Minimum Qualifications--Valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License) and clean driving record.Minimum 1-2 years of verifiable truck driving experience (preferred).Ability to pass a DOT physical examination.Strong working knowledge of DOT regulations, safety laws, and traffic laws.Excellent hand-eye coordination and quick reaction time.Good visual and hearing acuity as required by federal guidelines.High attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Adaptable and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.Ability to lift up to 100lbs and/or maneuver freight with a pallet jack as needed.Xpedient Logistics is an Equal Opportunity Employer.Xpedient offers competitive wages, insurance benefits (medical, dental, vision and life), paid time off and holidays.Compensation details: 68000 Yearly SalaryPI14f1e673a996-25660-37485507
