Experience coordinating security protocols for moving high value cargo globally, to include supporting Data Center environments. Experience managing a geographically-dispersed contracted workforce. About the job As a Data Center Security Manager, you deliver full pieces of a project and make significant contributions with minimal guidance. You use your knowledge of security technology, data analysis, and data visualization to plan efforts of a team responsible for small to medium sized initiatives by delivering value-added perspectives and influencing project direction. You contribute to cross-team collaborations, identify and recommend multiple creative ways to solve defined problems. As a Data Center Area Security Manager, you will drive the outcomes of key data center infrastructure through technical contributions. You will use your knowledge of data center security designs, operations, and local laws to develop and lead programs that align with regional or global strategy in order to gain site efficiency. You partner with external industry leaders and collaborate with upper management and cross-functional teams to discuss project prioritization and resource allocation. The Data Center team designs and operates some of the most sophisticated electrical and HVAC systems in the world. We are an upbeat, creative, team-oriented group of engineers committed to building and operating powerful data centers. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $134,000-$193,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities Develop, implement, and oversee strategies and protocols to protect the organization's supply chain and transportation networks from theft, disruption, and other physical security threats. Manage the daily operations of vendors providing services including security, training, and risk management for one or multiple cross-functional technical infrastructure locations. Act as a single point of escalation for defined security-related incidents with uncertain solutions. Develop cross-functional strategies to keep operational costs to a minimum, improve efficiency, and maintain an appropriate security posture. Perform risk assessments and provide feedback to internal design teams for a variety of secure facilities.
