Atlanta, United States - Posted on 11/04/2024 We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Yard Logistics Consultant for a 12-month contract in Atlanta, GA. The successful candidate will bring deep expertise in Yard Management processes and integration with SAP S/4 HANA. This role requires strong leadership and technical skills to drive the design and implementation of SAP Yard Management solutions, ensuring seamless integration with Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) and Logistics Execution functions.
Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a SAP solution architect responsible for designing and implementing SAP S/4 HANA Yard Management (YM), Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), and Logistics Execution solutions.
  
• Oversee the full lifecycle of SAP YM implementations, from order and appointment planning to yard execution and monitoring.
  
• Manage and guide client personnel, ensuring adherence to leading-practice business processes.
  
• Design and configure SAP S/4 HANA YM functionality, providing technical leadership and guidance to offshore teams for development related to YM and EWM integration.
  
• Collaborate with stakeholders to create meaningful client relationships and deliver effective presentations of findings and recommendations.
  Required Skills:
  
  • Expertise in Yard Management processes, including order and appointment planning, check-in, yard execution, mobile operations, and monitoring.
    
  • Strong knowledge of integration with SAP EWM, SD, MM, PM, RF, and best practices in SAP YM implementations.
    
  • Proven experience in SAP YM addon upgrades to SAP S/4 HANA and greenfield implementations.
    
  • Excellent SAP configuration skills and familiarity with SAP Activate methodology.
    
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
    Additional Requirements:
    
    • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
      Experience:
      
      • 7+ years of experience in SAP Yard Logistics and related fields.
