Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. An opportunity is available for an RN with Operating Room experience in a contract role based in Marietta, GA. This position involves delivering individualized, high-quality perioperative nursing care within a multidisciplinary team setting. The role is grounded in evidence-based practice, nursing professionalism, and patient-centered care, aligning with established nursing models and standards. Key Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive nursing processes including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of perioperative patient care. Provide culturally sensitive, relationship-based care tailored to diverse patient populations. Collaborate effectively across interdisciplinary teams, ensuring timely documentation and promoting a respectful work environment. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and shared governance activities. Serve as a preceptor and mentor, supporting ongoing professional development among nursing staff. Uphold regulatory, legal, and accreditation standards including patient safety goals. Engage in evidence-based practice, research activities, and protocol development. Manage efficient use of resources and co-manage patient care through the continuum. Qualifications and Experience: Associate Degree or Diploma in Nursing required; Bachelors degree preferred. Current RN licensure in good standing according to Georgia State or Multi-state Compact. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification mandatory at time of hire. Less than one year of nursing experience accepted; clinical experience during nursing school required. Proficient in English with strong communication, critical thinking, and customer service skills. Ability to work under pressure, manage time effectively, and respond to emergencies thoughtfully and professionally. Basic computer proficiency to support clinical documentation. Schedule & Location: Day Shift: 06:45 AM 5:15 PM, 3 days per week; primarily Monday through Friday with possible weekend call rotation.
