Job Description:
Are you a Board-Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon seeking a
rewarding locum tenens opportunity in Georgia? A dynamic practice
near Moreland, GA, is looking for skilled professionals to fill a
vacancy in their Orthopaedic Surgery department. Key Opportunity
Highlights: Start Date: January 6, 2025 Duration: Ongoing, with a
flexible schedule and call requirements. Setting: Inpatient only;
outpatient responsibilities are not required. Call Details: Beeper
call with a 15-minute response time. Average 2 phone consults and 5
patient interactions per shift. Call-back rate is approximately
60%. Practice Details: Patients Per Shift: 3-5 Department Beds:
10-20 Support Staff: RNs: 7 MAs: 13 PAs/NPs: 5 Specialty Skills
Required: Arthroscopy Total Joint Replacement (Hip and Knee)
Shoulder, Hip, and Knee Procedures Joint Revisions/Repairs
Peripheral Nerve Surgery Tendon Release/Repair Requirements: Active
Georgia medical license (no reimbursement for licensing). Board
Certification in Orthopaedic Surgery is mandatory. Fellowship
training is preferred but not required. Familiarity with EMR
systems (Cerner and Athena). Additional Details: Holiday coverage
includes major national holidays. Estimated credentialing timeframe
is 30 days. Facility is stroke-certified and equipped to handle
various orthopaedic cases. Travel, lodging, and malpractice
