About The Position We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner specializing in Wound Care for a locum tenens position in Connecticut. This 34-day assignment begins on 08/04/2025, and involves providing advanced wound care services in a home care setting. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing wounds lingering for 4 weeks or more, performing debridements, and utilizing advanced healing treatments such as UltraMist and cellular tissue therapies. The schedule is flexible, typically covering two 10-hour days per week (7am-5pm), with the potential to add a third day depending on referrals. This role requires travel to patients' residences and expertise in using UltraMist Wands and various skin graft techniques. Job Details: Location: Connecticut Facility Type: Home Care Start Date: 08/04/2025 LOA: 34 days Provider Type Needed: Nurse Practitioner specializing in Wound Care Schedule: 10-hour days (7am-5pm), 2 days per week (flexible) Responsibilities and Duties: • Provide advanced wound care services in patients' homes • Manage complex wounds that have been lingering for 4 weeks or more • Perform debridements as needed • Administer UltraMist and cellular tissue advanced healing treatments • Apply various skin grafts, including fish skin, placenta, and lab-grown options • Travel to multiple residences within the assigned service region • Utilize WoundExpert electronic health record system • Adapt to a flexible schedule based on patient referrals Additional Information: • Connecticut license required • Experience with UltraMist Wands and advanced skin grafting techniques highly preferred • Possibility of assignment extension • Service region map available upon request or at the point of offer Apply now to learn more!
