This is a Hybrid opportunity out of our Texas office at 100
Throckmorton Street, Fort Worth, TX 76102. Should an identified
candidate reside in Georgia, the office location is 5565 Glenridge
Connector NE, Atlanta, GA 30342, with an expectation of monthly

RESPONSIBILITIES:As the Chief Product Officer-Merchant Services you
will innovate, inspire, coach, and rally teams across
cross-functional departments. You will turn bold product visions
and ideas into realities.You are accountable for the Small to
Mid-Market Businesses product portfolio including accountability
for the vision, innovation, and delivery. This role ensures
products are desirable, viable, and successfully enabled by the
Deluxe technology and operations.
- Ensure the product portfolio is profitable and supports the
overall business strategy
- Define and set KPI's and annual goals, financial and
non-financial, across the portfolio and drive performance and
profitability
- Innovative leader driving growth, while ensuring the product
portfolio delivers value in the short, medium, and long term
- Define the portfolio vision, strategy, and roadmap
- Balance investment of money, time, and people in short-term
tactical product improvements with long-term strategic product
investments to maximize ROI
- Lead the launch and support of products, collaborate with
cross-functional teams like Technology to ensure the product is
built correctly, and partner with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and
Finance to successfully commercialize and grow the products
- Own the product portfolio and each product therein, across the
full product lifecycle (introduction, growth, maturity, sunset) and
the end-to-end experience of each product across Shop, Buy, Adopt,
Use, and Support
- Understand and share insights about the customer and market,
through customer research, customer feedback, market analysis,
emerging technologies, payments trends, and experimentation, to
inform prioritization
- Build and utilize a voice of customer program to evaluate
product performance, solicit feedback, integrate the voice of the
customer into the product, gather and present customer insights
from research
- Recruit, nurture, and develop a high-performing Product
Management team, ensure adherence to best practices
- Deliver thought leadership both within the organization and
externally, engage high-profile clients and partners to elevate our
reputation as a pioneering fintech leaderBASIC
QUALIFICATIONS:(Required)
- Bachelor's Degree AND 10 years of product management
experience; OR Master's Degree AND 8 years of product management
experience
- 7 years of people leadership experience
- Experience leading portfolio of products across a lifecycle,
including conceptualizing a product early, launching a product to
market, and maintaining a product in market
- Advanced knowledge of payments and fintech industries and
products
- Familiarity with business management, product marketing,
design/UX, and agile technology processes
- Must be 18 years of age or olderPREFERRED
QUALIFICATIONS:(Desired but not required)
- Deep knowledge of current product management and innovation
methodologies, best practices, and design thinking
- Strong business acumen, including market analysis, business
cases, and P&Ls
- Creative problem solver, capable of developing innovative and
differentiated solutions
- Excellent facilitative leadership skills to work
collaboratively and cross functionality in a shared services model
to lead and influence employees that are indirect superiors, peers,
or junior to this role
- Experience managing a high performing team and cultivating a
collaborative environment across team boundaries
- Demonstrated agile leadership competencies with expertise,
grit, growth mindset and ownership as well as ability to lead,
coach and motivate teams
- Technical know-how and expertise to engage, influence, and
challenge technology directions and decisions
- Experience working within an innovation team or enterprise
product team for a larger company
- Experience with primary customer research, time "in the field",
market research, and translation of insights uncovered into ideas,
concepts, and products
