Safety Manager – Commercial General Contractor Full-Time | Competitive Pay & Benefits A leading Commercial General Contractor is actively seeking an experienced Safety Manager to lead and implement safety programs across multiple job sites. Safety Manager Responsibilities: Serve as the primary Safety Manager across all active construction projects, ensuring compliance with OSHA, federal, state, and local regulations. Develop, implement, and maintain job-specific safety plans and company-wide safety programs. Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and prevent accidents. Lead safety training and orientation for new hires, subcontractors, and field personnel. Investigate incidents, near misses, and safety concerns, and implement corrective actions. Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and field teams to promote jobsite safety culture. Maintain all safety documentation and reporting for internal records and client compliance. Safety Manager Requirements: 5 years of safety experience in commercial construction, preferably with a General Contractor. OSHA 30 (minimum); CHST or other safety certifications a plus. Strong knowledge of safety laws, regulations, and best practices. Excellent communication, training, and organizational skills. Ability to travel to local job sites as needed.
