Excellent Benefits Package! Hybrid Work Schedule 2x remote per week! Job Details Job Details: We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Accountant to join our Consumer Services team. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high growth environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of accounting and financial reporting for our consumer services division. This role is vital to ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records, and will play a key role in driving financial performance and strategic decision making. Responsibilities: 1. Oversee the preparation and maintenance of general ledger accounts, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all entries. 2. Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP. 3. Supervise and manage the preparation of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and intercompany transactions. 4. Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance. 5. Develop, implement, and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with GAAP and other applicable regulations. 6. Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, and report variances. 7. Participate in the development and support of internal control structures. 8. Analyze financial data and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner. 9. Provide leadership and support to junior accounting staff, fostering a workplace environment that is collaborative, respectful, and high-performing. Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required. Master's degree or advanced certification such as CPA or CMA is preferred. 2. Minimum of five years of experience in accounting or related field, with at least three years in a senior role. 3. Thorough knowledge of general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process. 4. Strong understanding of GAAP and other accounting principles and procedures. 5. Proficiency with accounting software and experience with a software system implementation. 6. Exceptional analytical skills and a strong attention to detail. 7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 8. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. 9. Proven leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team. 10. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
