They are a leading financial institution that is growing rapidly and is seeking a Accounting Manager to spearhead the A&F team. Job Details Responsibilities: Oversee all operations of the accounting department, including the design of an organizational structure adequate for achieving the department's goals and objectives. Supervise and manage all general ledger activity, financial reporting, payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget, financial forecasts, and report variances. Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements. Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting. Research technical accounting issues for compliance. Support month-end and year-end close process. Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting. Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls. Liaise with our CFO and executive team on all matters concerning financial management, budgeting, and internal controls. Qualifications: A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in a similar role within the Banking or Financial Services industry. Certified Management Accountant (CPA) designation is required. Masters in Accounting or related field. Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations. High attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to direct and supervise. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Strong analytical and strategic problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and various accounting software.
