They are seeking a Controller who will partner with the CFO on full cycle accounting, account reconcilations, and supervising staff accountants. Apply today to learn more! Why join us? Job Details Responsibilities: Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition. Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances. Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements. Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting. Research technical accounting issues for compliance. Support month-end and year-end close process. Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting. Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings. Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls. Additional controller duties as necessary. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA or MBA preferred. Proven working experience as a Controller with 5 years of overall combined accounting and finance experience. Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures. Experience with creating financial statements. Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process. Excellent accounting software user and administration skills. Experience with Reynolds software and ERP implementation is highly desirable. Strong understanding of full cycle accounting and journal entries. Experience with corporate governance. Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent problem-solving skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. High attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to direct and supervise. Interested in hearing more?
