a dynamic and experienced Senior Property Accountant to join our
team. This role is designed for a seasoned professional who has a
deep understanding of commercial real estate accounting, along with
proficiency in Yardi software. This is an exciting opportunity for
someone looking to apply their expertise in a challenging and
rewarding environment. The successful candidate will have the
opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of properties,
contribute to financial decision-making processes, and play a key
role in the growth and success of our company. Responsibilities: As
a Senior Property Accountant, your responsibilities will include
but are not limited to: 1. Overseeing and managing the complete
financial and accounting functions of assigned commercial
properties. 2. Preparing and analyzing monthly, quarterly, and
annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP. 3. Conducting
variance analysis, account reconciliations, and budget forecasting.
4. Collaborating with the property management team to optimize
financial performance of properties. 5. Utilizing Yardi software
for property management accounting tasks. 6. Ensuring accurate and
timely reporting of all monthly financial information. 7.
Participating in the development and implementation of financial
policies and procedures. 8. Assisting with annual audits and tax
return preparation. 9. Providing training and guidance to junior
accounting staff. 10. Liaising with external auditors, tax
consultants, and regulatory authorities as required.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate for the Senior Property
Accountant role will possess the following qualifications: 1.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. A CPA
designation is preferred. 2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a
similar role, with a specific focus on commercial real estate
accounting. 3. Proficiency in Yardi software is a must. 4. Strong
understanding of financial statements, ledgers, and accounting
principles. 5. Proven ability to analyze financial data and prepare
