Job Details Responsibilities: Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes. Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget, financial forecasts, and report variances. Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements. Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting. Research technical accounting issues for compliance. Support month-end and year-end close process. Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting. Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings. Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls. Additional duties as necessary. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification is a plus. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the restaurant industry. Proficiency in accounting software, Micros, and advanced Excel skills. Experience with multi-unit restaurant accounting is a strong plus. In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Experience with financial statement preparation and review. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proven leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results. Knowledge of employee relationship building and team management. Interested in hearing more?
