Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Controller to join our team at Atlanta Personal Injury Law Group - Gore in Roswell, GA. The ideal candidate will be highly organized and have a solid background in finance and accounting. The Controller will lead the overall team in the development, implementation, and management of the firm's financial and accounting operations, as well as providing guidance and insight to the attorneys and other members of the firm.

This position will have a base salary of between $85,000 - $90,000 and offer a comprehensive benefits package. If you have experience in the legal field, this is the perfect opportunity to join an established and respected company.

Responsibilities:
--- Oversee the daily accounting activities for the firm and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information.
--- Payroll.
--- Monitor and analyze financial performance and create periodic reports for review and evaluation by the CFO and other executive leadership.
--- Manage and reconcile bank accounts, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll.
--- Prepare government filings including quarterly and annual reports, and tax returns.
--- Develop and maintain internal controls for accounting operations, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards.

Qualifications:
--- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
--- Five years of experience in accounting/finance, preferably in an attorney's office.
--- Extensive working knowledge of Quickbooks or similar software.
--- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Excel.
--- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
--- US Work Authorization.
